(1) Officials and members will be provided with a government house on behalf of the Government of Nepal. In case such a house is not arranged, the office bearer and every member who does not have a house in Kathmandu Valley will be given the amount as per Schedule-1 monthly for housing facilities. The member will be given half of the amount as per that sub-section for housing maintenance and repair.

(3) According to sub-section (1) the Nepal government will repair and maintain the house settled on behalf of the Nepal government.

( 4) In case funds are provided for housing facilities according to sub-section (1), the amount mentioned in Schedule-1 will be provided to the office bearers for the provision of private secretariat and guard house. They will have up to fifteen days from the date of expiry of the term of office. The amount as per Schedule-1 will be provided for one working term of the Federal Parliament. However, if a minister or an official has received furniture related facilities once, he will not be given furniture facilities as per this sub-section within the same term of office of the Federal Parliament.
